Jennifer Aniston took to Instagram to give fans a candid look into her preparation for the virtual 72nd Emmys ceremony on Sunday night.

And while there was no star-studded red carpet this year amid the coronavirus pandemic, also giving fans a sneak peek into behind-the-scenes were Reese Witherspoon, Kerry Washington, Zendaya, Julia Garner, Tracee Ellis Ross and Billy Porter.

Jennifer shared a picture of herself wearing a sheet face mask and grey dressing gown as she sipped Champagne on a huge plush arm chair at her Los Angeles home.

Keep it cozy like Jennifer wearing Pour Les Femmes

Jennifer Aniston has one of the most coveted wardrobes and it looks like we’re jealous of her loungewear, as well!

The actress was ready for the Emmys, champagne in hand, wearing this comfortable cotton robe by Pour Les Femmes. It’s made from organic Japanese cotton which is lightweight and keeps you cool.

The brand is unique as its collections help support women living in the Congo and other regions of Africa through employment and skilled trade initiatives.

Her exact robe is sold out but click (right) to check out others from the label via NET-A-PORTER. Or get a linen lookalike from one of the robes in the edit below.

Making a note of the pandemic and face masks, she penned: ‘Emmys prep… in my other mask Congratulations to the nominees and all of the amazing performances we’ve seen this year ❤️.’

Jennifer, who was nominated for the Lead Actress gong for The Morning Show, also posted a picture of her hair dresser, Chris McMillan, wearing a mask as he got her ready for the mainly virtual event.

The Friends star also shared a hilarious picture of her stylist making sure her Louis Vuitton black dress looked perfect before appeared on the show.

Such fun! And while there was no star-studded red carpet this year amid the coronavirus pandemic, also giving fans a sneak peek into behind-the-scenes were Reese Witherspoon (pictured), Kerry Washington, Zendaya, Julia Garner, Tracee Ellis Ross and Billy Porter

Jennifer was one of the nominees this year for Lead Actress in a Drama series for her work in Apple TV Plus’ The Morning Show.

She was nominated alongside The Crown’s Olivia Colman, Killing Eve’s Jodie Comer, Ozark’s Laura Linney, Killing Eve’s Sandra Oh and Euphoria’s Zendaya – with the latter star scooping the award.

Jennifer previously won an Emmy in 2002 for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for her role of Rachel in Friends.

She also earned four more Emmy nominations for her time on Friends, plus Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series for her stint on 30 Rock in 2009.

The Morning Show marks Aniston’s first return to TV in a starring role, playing Alex Levy in The Morning Show, inspired by Brian Stelter’s book Top of the Morning: Inside the Cutthroat World of Morning TV.

Alex Levy is an anchor on a hit morning show in New York, whose partner gets fired after a sexual misconduct scandal as she fights to keep her job from emerging reporter Bradley Jackson (Reese Witherspoon).

Jennifer’s appearance comes after she had a virtual reunion with ex-husband Brad Pitt during a star-studded table read of the Fast Times at Ridgemont High script last week.

The 72nd Primetime Emmy Awards took place with a largely virtual ceremony due to the pandemic on Sunday night.

Producers sent over 130 home video kits to stars for their remote speeches, and Jimmy Kimmel anchored the show from the Staples Centre as other presenters delivered gongs to some of the winners’ homes in full tuxedo hazmat gear.

Host Jimmy, 52, admitted the traditional glitz and glamour could end up a ‘beautiful disaster’ as the Emmys became the latest major awards show to grapple with holding a ceremony during a still-raging pandemic.

Choosing the comedian to emcee the ceremony reverses course from last year’s no-host ceremony.
