Sydney drug dealer Matthew Doyle was partying with rich businessman’s daughter

The daughter of a high profile Australian businessman was allegedly caught up in an investigation into a glitzy drug dealer after a wild night partying together.

Matthew Doyle pleaded guilty in September to supplying 50 kilograms of cocaine and was sentenced to eight years behind bars.

The 32-year-old had been the target of a major police operation before his arrest and police even performed surveillance on him during his bucks party in a Melbourne hotel room in 2018.

It was there, just months before his wedding to wife Kelsea, that police noticed Doyle was associating with the businessman’s daughter at his bucks party, The Sunday Telegraph reports.

As part of their surveillance on Doyle, detectives had rigged the hotel room with listening devices ahead the party.

Recordings from the celebrations included the voice of a familiar female.

The woman is known to be in social circles with Doyle and his wife and was heard enjoying herself in the festivities.

Investigators tried to gain access to CCTV cameras from the hotel on the night in question, but were told the system had technical difficulties.

Police remained focused on Doyle and his role in an international cocaine plot.

Daily Mail Australia is not suggesting the woman was involved in any wrongdoing.

Jared Raymond Hart and Raoul Kesby were jailed alongside Doyle for their role in the drug syndicate.

Doyle also pleaded guilty to dealing with more than $500,000 of the proceeds of crime.

His wife Kelsea has not been charged with any offences.

Doyle and Kelsea are known in Sydney’s elite social circles and frequent the Bondi Icebergs restaurant.

Before his arrest Doyle ran a start-up called ZenNow, which is dubbed the ‘Uber of massages’.

Kelsea has previously worked with high-end fashion brand Camilla and March as a marketing and PR manager.
