How Kyle Sandilands used his star status to manipulative Celebrity Big Brother producers

With a new season of Big Brother being filmed in Sydney, Kyle Sandilands has looked back on his time on the celebrity version of the hit series, which he starred in back in 2002.

The 48-year-old told News.com.au on Friday how he used his star status to bully the show’s producers into giving him special treatment.

‘One night, Big Brother was being a bit of a c**k and I said, “Listen, this is Celebrity Big Brother, not normal Big Brother”,’ Kyle said.

When his demand for KFC to be delivered to the house wasn’t met, Kyle threatened ‘Big Brother’ telling him he’d he’d ruin the show.

‘I’d say, “Let me tell you something Big Brother, we’re going to do nothing for the next three days”,’ he said.

‘We’re going to sit in the lounge room, we’re not going to talk, we’re not going to do any of your f***ing activities, we’re not going to be called to the diary room, the whole show will come unstuck unless you f***ing pop up the KFC and the Veuve.’

Kyle then revealed the food was delivered about 20 minutes later.

The shock jock was joined in the house with celebrities including house former Home and Away star Kimberley Cooper, Wheel of Fortune’s Adriana Xenides, footballer Warwick Capper and boxer Anthony Mundine.

The special celebrity edition ran for 24 days on Channel 10, with Kyle being evicted on day 23.

The following day TV and radio host Dylan Lewis was announced as the winner.

Kyle admitted to his outlandish demands just after it was revealed that he and radio show co-host Jackie ‘O’ Hendeson can both act like ‘divas’ at work.

The Kyle and Jackie O show executive producer Sonia Jahshan, who goes by the nickname of Palestine on the radio program, has revealed she was once told not to ‘look Jackie in the eye’ when she first started working at KIIS FM.

‘Jackie, did you know when I first started I was told that I wasn’t allowed to look you in the eye?’ Palestine said with a laugh.

‘I was told drop the O News off and immediately leave the studio,’ she added.

A shocked Jackie, 45, immediately demanded to know who had told Palestine the supposed rules.

She then denied the diva rumours and said it was ‘such a lie!’

Palestine then went on to reveal Kyle’s diva demands, which is said to include an ’emergency Kit Kat drawer’.

In true Kyle fashion, he fessed up to the outlandish demand and admitted it was true.
